Robert Johnson Photo - Wow, great to see a newly revealed photo of Robert Johnson! Obviously from the same photo-booth session as the one with the cigarette dangling from his lips....same clothes and same wrinkle in the curtain. Entirely different pose though and overall feeling. This news has arrived just as I'm reading the 2019 book, Up Jumped The Devil: The Real Life Of Robert Johnson. Highly recommended, as his real life story, meticulously researched for over half a century by Gayle Dean Wardlow and Bruce Conforth, is much more intriguing than any of the myths that have for so too long surrounded him. Looking forward to reading his stepsister's memoir, "Brother Robert: Growing Up With Robert Johnson", from which this photograph is first being published. -JB
